Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Friday got to taste Davao City’s pride, durian, with President Rodrigo Duterte.
After the eagle naming ceremony at the Waterfront Insular Hotel, Duterte led Abe to a buffet of durian and other fruits.
They were joined by their respective partners, Honeylet Avanceña and Akie Abe.
Earlier, Duterte served kakanin such as biko, suman, and kutsinta to Abe when he toured the Japanese Prime Minister inside his home in Davao City.
