Earlier today Intex launched their newest offering to the Indian market, the Intex Aqua Amaze+, with entry level specifications and connectivity features like 4G LTE and VoLte, the device is not exclusive to any online partners, and will be sold via their (Intex’s) retail outlets. Lets look at the few aspects of this device to understand more about this smartphone. The device is priced at INR 6,290, which practically feels little more compared to what the device is offering.
In terms of built quality, there is nothing new here. The Intex Aqua Amaze+ doesn’t include all metal unibody, the company has incorporated old school poly carbonate shell to reduce the cost of production. However, it looks decent and the device will last longer than one’s expectation.
On the technical aspect, the device is powered by 1.3 GhZ quad core MTK chipset, paired with 1 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 8 GB internal storage, with external SD card support upto 32 GB. The 4.7 inch display is measures at 720p(IPS lcd), which is not the brightest available in the market.
Moving on, the Intex Aqua Amaze+ packs decent optics for it’s price tag, the main 5 MP camera with autofocus and 720p video recording capability is not the best sensor, but it can take good photos for your social network needs. The 5 MP fixed focus front facing camera is not bad either. The device does packs smaller 2000 mAh li-ion battery (user replaceable) without any fast charging capability. Android 6.0 marshmallow is slightly tweaked in favour of Intex.
The Director & Business Head, Intex Technologies Ms. Nidhi Markanday, said “At Intex, we are constantly upgrading our products and services. By launching Aqua Amaze+ we are creating a reflection of our users’ desires to meeting their needs. In this handset, we have offered a HD display quality, which will give users a high-resolution experience, making the viewing angles absolutely heavenly. We are happy to launch this 4G-enabled smartphone for our users and are confident of expanding our reach.”
