LG is playing its cards for their next flagship smartphone, the LG G6. According to sources, there may be more than one device with G6 tag name. The LG G6, G6 compact and G6 Lite. Lets discuss on each of these devices in detail.
LG G6 will be their flagship device with latest hardware inside, however, the device will be powered by the last gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, with at least 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64 GB internal storage with a dedicated SD card slot. The device is expected to sport a 5 inch or 5.2 inch IPS LCD 2k screen with 2.5 D edges. In terms of the camera, LG may even include their last generation dual lens camera with improved optics and more fine tuning to enhance the photographic skills.
On the other hand, The G6 Compact will be pretty much powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, with at least 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64 GB internal storage with a dedicated SD card slot. When it comes to the display department, the device may house 1080p panel with smaller screen size of 4.7 to 5 inch. In terms of the camera, (probably single camera sensor) one can expect the same hardware as their flagship device.
Moving on to G6 Lite, as the name suggests, the device will be a lighter version of their original G6, which will be powered by Qualcomm 600 series chipset with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB or 32 GB internal storage with a dedicated SD card slot. The device will not be equipped with best hardware like their big brother for its camera.
Pricing:
All three devices are expected to share design with each other, even the button placements will be identical. Although not official yet, the first one is expected to be priced anywhere around $700-$800 USD, the Compact variant may come with price tag of $500-$600 USD while the Lite variant may cost $400-$500.
