Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 5c was recently spotted in few benchmarking apps. Recent leads about the device are more clearer and confirms the design and the specifications of the device. Lets look at the specs to understand more about this device.
As per the design language, it is inherited from its predecessors. Considering the fact that it will be priced at CNY 999 or $144 and belongs to Mi 5 series; this is the device you should be looking for, as it will have all the features you expect from the high-end smartphone. Lets look at the possible specifications to understand more about this smartphone.
On the first note, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will be hosting a 5.5 inch IPS LCD screen with 2.5 D glass protection on the top. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with 2.2 GHz Octa-core processor actuated with 3 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and massive 64 GB internal storage, in compromise with a dedicated SD card slot, just like their other flagship devices.
On the camera frontier, the device will be housing a 12 MP rear facing camera with OIS, PDAF and other value added feature including native 4k video recording capability. Whereas the 8 MP camera will be in charge of selfies with native 1080p video recording capability. The device will be featuring at least 3200 mAh Li-Ion non removable battery, with fast charging capabilities.
In terms of its connectivity features, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will have dual SIM card slots, with 4G LTE and VoLte support including Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC for newly launched Mi Pay in China. The device will be running on Android Marshmallow, with skin MiUi v8 on the top, like other smartphones. Lets hope that this device will be launched before their next flagship device, the Xiaomi Mi 6, and that they price it aggressively like their other devices.
