ZTE hasn’t launched any smartphone in India in the past few years. To break the sentence now, the ZTE Blade A2 Plus, the first smartphone for India from ZTE will be launched coming with competitive pricing and impressive specs sheet.
The design language of this device is quite impressive as it features all metal unibody design. The device will be available in various shades like gold and silver. Lets look at the tech specifications to understand more about this device.
The device is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T Octa-Core SoC (four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5 GHz and four at 1 GHz) with Mali GPU, coupled with 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB internal storage with a dedicated SD card slot. ZTE Blade A2 Plus sports a 5.5 inch 1080p IPS LCD panel.
In terms of optics, the device packs 13 MP autofocus rear facing camera with 1080p video recording capability and PDAF; on the other hand it houses a 8 MP front facing selfie camera with enhanced features like screen flash and beauty mode via software tweaks. The device even packs a finger print sensor located just beneath the camera department.
The most interesting part about this device is, ZTE Blade A2 Plus packs a powerful 5000 mAh Li-Ion non removable battery, which supports fast charging as well. As per the press release, the device will give a talk time of 22 hours on a single charge.
In conclusion, the device is priced at INR 11,999 and is exclusive for Flipkart; the sale kickoff is on 6th of February. Interesting thing to note here is the device costs CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 17000) in China for the same device, and for the first time it has been priced slightly lower than the Chinese counter part, something the Indian junta will appreciate.
