Lenovo’s latest offerings to the budget Android segment is, the Lenovo Vibe B. This device packs entry-level specifications. The device is aimed at the entry-level smartphone buyers, with all the features offered by any other smartphone, like 4G LTE, selfie camera and larger screen.
In terms of built quality, the Lenovo Vibe B does not look that great. The design language is borrowed from 2014. In terms of built quality, the device features polycarbonate body, with user replaceable battery and back panel. Lets look at the technical specifications of the same, to understand more about this device.
The Lenovo Vibe B is powered by entry-level MediaTek MT6735m Quad Core processor, clocked at 1.0 GhZ, coupled with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB internal storage, with a dedicated SD card slot, that supports micro SD card up to 32 GB. In terms of display, the device houses 854 x 480 resolution IPS LCD grade screen, with a 4.5 inch screen size, Lenovo could have incorporated a 720p resolution screen at this price bracket.
The device features a 5 MP fixed focus camera at the rear end as well as 2 MP front facing fixed focus sensor. Both modules can record standard definition videos. Lenovo Vibe B is powered by 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery, which does not support fast charging what so ever. The only thing which is good with this device is the fact that, it supports 4G LTE; other than that, this is just an entry-level smartphone, that is no good compared to anything else on offer.
The device runs on Android Nougat, with custom skin on the top. Finally, the device is priced at INR 5,799. Adding an extra $20, will offer a much better device like Redmi 3S which offers HD screen, powerful processor, bigger battery and more prominent built quality. WVGA display in 2017 is really a shame.
