Calgary Flames forward Johnny Gaudreau scored a gorgeous power play goal Monday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, going around almost the entire team to put the puck in the net.
The play happened around the 5:22 mark of the third period when Gaudreau got the puck near his own blue line and raced up the boards, zipping past forward Tom Kuhnhackl. He then deked past defenseman Ron Hainsey, avoided a sliding Nick Bonino and went around the net for the wraparound beating goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.

This put the Flames up 3-2. Calgary came into the game winners of nine straight.

The goal was Gaudreau’s 15th of the season. Since the all-star break, Gaudreau has picked up his pace, now with 18 points in his last 17 games played. He currently has 49 points in 59 games overall this season.
