ZTE launched two more smartphones in its Blade fort-polio. The ZTE Blade V8 Mini and ZTE Blade V8 Lite are the two mid tier smartphones which boasts premium all metal unibody design and flaunts fancy camera hardware.
Both devices looks identical from a distance, however, the superior ZTE Blade V8 Mini comes with dual camera sensors at the back. The device offers a range of synthetic (software) aperture ranging from F/1.0 t0 F/8.0 to create bokeh like depth sensing images, with the help from 13 MP and 2 MP sensors, with 1080p video recording capability. On the other hand, the V8 Lite packs 8 MP rear facing camera. Both devices offer 5 MP front facing selfie camera, with 720p video recording capability.
The Blade V8 Mini is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Oct Core SoC, whereas the V8 Lite runs on MTK MT6750 chipset. The 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB internal storage is common for both the variants. Even the 720p 5 inch IPS LCD screen is also identical. 
The micro SD card comes as a standard option, with an expansion capacity up to 128 GB. Both devices comes with rear mount finger print sensor, which can unlock the device in less than 1/3rd of a second. In terms of battery capacity, the Mini version gets a slightly bigger 2800 mAh Li-Ion non user replaceable battery, whereas the V8 Lite is powered by 2500 mAh Li-Ion non user replaceable battery, without any fast charging capabilities. The devices are powered by Android Nougat, with custom ZTE Ui on the top.
The availability of the device varies from country to country. The V8 Mini retails in Asia Pacific and Europe. The V8 Lite will be available in Italy, Germany and Spain. However, there is no information about the pricing of these devices. However, from their previous pricing strategies, one can say that these devices will be available for less than $199.
