ZTE is all set to launch an all new smartphone, code-named ZTE Z986. The specifications of the device are disclosed by GFXBench listing. The, device looks like a mid tier smartphone, with impressive specifications.
In terms of built quality, the device may feature all metal unibody design, with dual SIM card capabilities. The device will come with 4G LTE and VoLte as well. However, we doubt the presence of NFC, due to that fact that, this will be priced under $300, for the contract free version.
Let’s look at its technical specifications, to understand more about this device. The ZTE Z986 will be housing a massive 6 inch IPS LCD screen, with 1080p resolution. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Oct Core chipset, coupled with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB internal storage, with a dedicated SD card slot, which can support micro SD card up to 256 GB.
There will be no fancy cameras found in this smartphone, rather, the ZTE has decided to go with single 13 MP autofocus sensor, that can record native 4k videos at 30 fps. On the contrary, the 5 MP selfie camera tops at 1080p at 30 fps.
The device packs all basic sensors, like accelerometer, compass and gyroscope with Bluetooth. As the device is powered by Snapdragon processor, its likely to have Quick charging capabilities (Probably 4000 mAh battery). The device is also likely to house a rear facing finger print sensor, for the quick unlocking of the smartphone.
