Android and iOS, have almost killed all other mobile operating system including Windows phone and BlackBerry OS. Although the OEM launched a few Android powered smartphones replicating BlackBerry OS, in terms of security and openness of Android; however due to bad pricing, their devices didn’t do well. However, the BlackBerry KeyOne is here, that can change the course of their smartphone for ever.
From their Keynote, one thing is clear, this exact device is aimed at corporate world, and even the features in this device are tailor made for that as well. The BlackBerry KeyOne features simplistic design and offers plenty of features. Even the procurement of touch responsive QWERTY keypad is a true BlackBerry trade mark.
The device features a 4.5 inch OLED screen, with bizarrely feeling 1080 x 1620 pixels inch screen, with guaranteed protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 runs round the clock, coupled with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, with a dedicated SD card slot, which can accept micro SD card upto 256 GB. 
The device packs a 12 MP rear facing camera, with F/2.0, along PDAF, Panorama and HDR mode. The device can record native 4K UHD videos; however, the front facing 8 MP sensor with F/2.2 can only record upto 720p.
The device is juiced out of 3505 mAh Li-Ion non user replaceable battery, that also supports Quick Charger 3.0 via USB type C. The USB OTG support also comes handy some times. The device also supports 4G as well as VoLte, which is a must in today’s smartphones.
In conclusion, the major selling point of this device is security. The device comes with a forked version of Android, with almost end to end encrypted messenger and email app. Other features like old school QWERTY keypad and trendy form factor, makes it one in a hundred.
